Hi, I’m Cassie.

I’m a verbal processor and have enjoyed the creative outlet of writing on an online blog for well over a decade. While my blog has taken on many different titles and “personalities” (and many of the original posts have become lost in the transitioning of platforms), one thing has remained the same: I always find myself writing about Jesus. Namely, His kindness and the generous observations of His love, character, and wisdom that He reveals to me in the ordinary moments of life.

Several years ago, I had a podcast called “Celebrate Confidently” that was supposed to be about party planning and hospitality, yet most of the episodes ended up talking about Jesus. While I wasn’t great at staying on-topic with my podcast’s niche, I realized through that project that learning, sharing, and encouraging others was what I truly loved doing, and mostly, encouraging them in the eternal hope that exists in Jesus Christ.

On any given week you can find me caring for our home, chasing around my two little people, dreaming up our next Disney trip, meal-planning for my gluten-free/dairy-free crew, trying my best to not say “yes” to too many things and slowing myself down to observe and know my Heavenly Father more.

I love being involved at my local church, Hope Presbyterian Church (PCA), and still get tickled by the journey God took me on to fall in love with and hold a deep reverence for the organized liturgical church. I’m passionate about the flourishing of the local church and those who call it home. My hope for this space is that it is a collection of observations of the awesome and ordinary moments of life and the many beautiful ways that God is at work in all of it.

I’m glad to have you here, whether for a gluten-free recipe or much-needed encouragement for your soul.
